Bringing the community together both in-person and online has been our goal from the start. From hosting the bi-annual DuelCircle Competitive PvP tournaments since 2015, to a mini community game night and livestream at 2019’s PAX South in San Antonio, to casual small meet and greets at SXSW Gaming and DreamHack in North/Central Texas over the years, to hosting the largest PAX South pre-convention party to celebrate DuelCircle Media’s 5th anniversary in 2020 along the San Antonio riverwalk, we’ve been able to create countless memories alongside you all.

Last October, we informally attended TwitchCon San Diego and mentioned how we’re actively trying to broaden our horizons to new cities and conventions due to the loss of PAX South in San Antonio. Since then we’ve informally attended Dreamhack Dallas this past June, and a few friends of DuelCircle Media attended PAX West in Seattle, as well as TwitchCon in Las Vegas in recent weeks.

We’ve learned quite a bit about each individual convention and each city. Every convention is different from each other, but they all share the same core values of bringing communities together. We’re still eagerly committed to hosting in-person community events again and hope to share more news in 2024, ahead of DuelCircle Media’s 10th anniversary.

While we’re still carefully researching and planning for our next in-person event for the community, we wanted to bring back a piece of both PAX West and TwichCon to you at home!
