Summer 2021 Contests

Thanks for entering our Summer 2021 contests, these have now closed! Check below for a list of winners and to see all valid meme entries. Prize codes have been sent to the account used during contest submission.

As a reminder, If any redemption issues occur, send an email to community@wizard101.com with the problematic code and your KingsIsle account username ONLY. KingsIsle does not require you to provide your password to them. Codes are for the Gamigo North American version of Wizard101.

It’s Summer which usually means a notable DuelCircle event is approaching. We had plans for something really cool in collaboration with our friends at the PAX Community Discord for their CommunityCon event (unaffiliated with Penny Arcade and the PAX events), but unfortunately those plans have been pushed to later this Fall.

However, this Summer still has tons of things happening around the spiral. We’re currently in the midst of a major test realm with the Wizard101 Summer Update quickly approaching its’ live realm debut (guides and more coming soon). Enter our Summer contests below for a chance to win some cool Summer themed prizes and crowns for your hot mander summer.

Wizard101 🤝 Meme101

Our abbreviated name, “DC” has lots of meanings in the real world. When people in the real world think of “DC”, they naturally think of DC Comics. While we’re not asking you to create your own comic for the spiral’s greatest superhero “ManderMan”, we want you to simply make a meme.

Example:

The FitnessGram™ Pacer Test is a multistage aerobic capacity test that progressively gets more difficult as it continues. This is a picture of a Mander running in an athletic event.

To enter:

  1. Take an in-game screenshot OR make a physical/digital drawing of ANYTHING related to Wizard101.
  2. Use a basic drawing program such as Microsoft Paint (or write on your physical drawing) and add text to your piece, thus creating the meme itself.
  3. Write a small explanation paragraph explaining the context of your meme creation. (250 worlds or less please!)
  4. Make us laugh with your meme by emailing contests@duelcircle.com with the subject line “Make Your Own Meme Contest”. Please include your wizard’s name so we can credit you if you win!

The use of photomancy is optional but not required whatsoever. Do whatever works best for you!

Be sure to send the file in a .jpeg or .png format. If we can’t open the file, we won’t be able to see it and will have to disqualify you. Entries must follow the code of conduct listed here.

Entries must be sent and received by Friday, July 30th at 11:59pm EDT. Winners will be emailed during the week of Monday, August 2nd and announced on all platforms.

Secret Summer Scavenger Hunt

Get a “Clue”, Nancy Drew!…Oh Wait, I meant Dr. Who!

Channel The Professor’s energy and try to depict the mystery that is the spiral itself…just kidding of course. Below are 10 zoomed in pictures of “items” from the various worlds of the spiral. Your goal is to determine what each actually are and where they are from.

Example:

This “torch” or “matchstick” of some sorts is from Wysteria’s School of Ember, and belongs to Ankhu.

To enter:

  1. Make an educated guess on what each of the 10 images are and where each “item” is from.
  2. Send your list of all 10 guesses to contests@duelcircle.com with the subject line “Scavenger Hunt Contest”. Please include your wizard’s name so we can credit you if you win!
