The 5th Clash. #Clash19

The 5th Clash. #Clash19

5 Years of Creativity.

In November of 2015, Before DuelCircle was DuelCircle. Clash was founded on the premise of creativity through unique playstyles and environments. Our tournaments have become an integral part of who we truly are. These tournaments were never meant to stand the test of time, yet here we are. We may be a little biased, but we think our tournaments over time, have proven to be the most challenging and innovative of them all.

Championships don’t happen by accident, they’re earned. Legacies have been built over the years to showcase greatness. We believe that If you can win here, you can win anywhere. There will be triumphs, there will be setbacks, heroes will rise, and their stories will be told.

Welcome to the 5th Anniversary Clash tournament, presented by KingsIsle Entertainment.

32 participants will compete live on Saturday, December 21st and Sunday, December 22nd at 2pm Eastern, as we kick-off the beginning of our year-long 5th Anniversary initiative, and celebrate DuelCircle’s history.

Clash Prizes.

Reaching this 5th Anniversary milestone is special in that prizing for 2019’s Clash iteration is the largest it has ever been.

We are so grateful to be working with Mathew “Sprack” Anderson, KingsIsle’s current community manager, who has continually supported DuelCircle’s values since his tenure. Without the support of Tom Purdue, Leala Ulrich, and Mathew Anderson since 2015 during their own tenures as KingsIsle CM, we would not be where we are today.

Participants who show up to all of their matches will receive an Umbra Blade Beckett wand!

Other miscellaneous prizes will be awarded via social media and on-air during gameday!

Tournament prizes will be awarded through the email used during the application process shortly after the tournament concludes.

If any redemption issues occur, send an email to community@wizard101.com with the problematic code and your KingsIsle account username ONLY. KingsIsle does not require you to provide your password to them.

Apply to Compete in The 5th Clash.

Participant applications for The 5th Clash have now closed.

Note: We recently made changes to our Rules, for more details check out The Changelog.

We can only accept a maximum of 32 participants via random automated draw. Those not initially accepted will be placed on a waitlist. Waitlisted applications are not guaranteed participation in the tournament and will be accepted first-come, first-serve based on the date of application submission.

Deadline to apply: Wednesday, December 11th at 11:59pm EST.

Participants will be contacted on Friday, December 13th regarding their acceptance or waitlist status. We will send you an email within a few days after you submit your application to verify that we received it.

We no longer accept volunteer gameday referee applications from the community. New referees are invite-only after careful evaluation.

2019’s Clash On-air Team.

As tradition with all DuelCircle flagship tournaments, we will be having 3 livestreams on each gameday covering high stakes matches, fan favorites, and more! Watch live beginning at 1:15pm Eastern on Saturday, December 21st and Sunday, December 22nd.

Check back in early December for the official On-air Team announcement.

Each stream will be heavily moderated by community leaders from KingsIsle’s official fansite lineup, DuelCircle Organizational Staff, and KingsIsle Employees. We want to maintain a family-friendly environment so if you see something inappropriate, say something and report it.

All matches from The 5th Clash will be uploaded to youtube after the conclusion of the tournament, regardless of whether they were streamed.

2019’s Clash Bracket.

Check back on Friday, December 13th for the release of 2019’s Clash Bracket and Full-Wizard Masterlist.

2019’s Clash Gamemodes.

For this special milestone tournament, gamemodes will be in-play during ALL rounds as homage to the 1st Clash tournament in 2015. We will be using gamemodes from each previous tournament since 2015, with a brand new gamemode to be released during the finals.

Gamemodes will be released 30 minutes prior to each round on the DuelCircle website, Social Media and through the DuelCircle Participant Discord server. Once the gamemode is announced, the 30 minute planning period will begin as per usual. Matches will remain at 45 minutes similar to ’19 Luau.

The 5th Anniversary Clash Contests.

As always during each tournament weekend, we’ll be hosting various contests for the community to participate in as we embark on The 5th Clash. Check back on Tuesday, December 17th for details.

Contests prizes will be awarded through the email used during the application process shortly after the tournament concludes.

If any redemption issues occur, send an email to community@wizard101.com with the problematic code and your KingsIsle account username ONLY. KingsIsle does not require you to provide your password to them.
